Today I will tell you what you should look into your traffic stats and analyze it to find your hidden traffic gems which are best performing content for traffic into your best performing content for users.

A bit confusing but what I meant is there may be quite a few hidden gems when you look at your stats. Pull out the top content for your site and see if there is some content which is averagely good when it comes to driving traffic but has an unusual bounce rate. If you find something similar in your analytics, it's time to look at that URL.

You should link to your other good articles from your so called hot article.

As an example How to open Adsense in New Window Safely is not best traffic drivers for me but it is one among the top 50 but it had the pattern where users use to come on that Article but hardly any user visited more than one page. The main reason for the user not to visit more than one page was very obvious for me. I have very little content for Adsense. See how I redirect traffic from that article to other related article.

Its good to analyze your logs and even set some goals for your traffic levels but remember stats is a double sided sword and so do not to become stat addict.
